Fellowship will be conferred to an educational therapist who has qualified as a Board-certified Educational Therapist of the International Association of Counsellors and Therapists or the Association of Educational Therapists.
A qualified educational therapist who is admitted as a Registered Educational Therapist of the IACT or Professional Educational Therapist of the Association of Educational Therapists may apply as a Professional member of our association.
A qualified educational therapist who is admitted as a Credentialed Educational Therapist of the IACT or Associate Educational Therapist of the Association of Educational Therapists may apply as a Professional member of our association.
Licenced professionals in fields related to educational therapy, including below are eligible for Allied Membership:
Allied Professionals must submit proof of licensure during application.
Allied Membership is available to general public individuals who are not educational therapists but are interested in the field. Parents and teachers looking for tools to effectively advocate for their children, and anyone interested in supporting individuals with learning differences and the mission of AET(S) could apply for Allied Membership.
The Student Membership is available to all individuals who can verify their enrollment in a university or college program that qualifies them for the Associate ET Membership.
Students must provide enrollment documents from their school.
Students can apply online and must submit proof of enrollment during application.
Proof of ongoing school enrollment is required to continue the membership during renewal.
