Artificial Intelligence Policy

1. Purpose and Scope
This policy establishes guidelines for the responsible and transparent use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in the creation, evaluation, and publication of scholarly work in this journal. It applies to all authors, reviewers, and editorial staff.

2. Permitted and Prohibited Uses
Permitted Uses:
Authors may use AI tools for language editing, grammar checking, translation, formatting, or data analysis, provided the use is transparently disclosed and the authors retain full responsibility for the final content.

Prohibited Uses:
The use of AI to fabricate, falsify, or manipulate research data, results, or images is strictly forbidden. AI tools must not be used to generate substantial parts of the manuscript (such as original research content or conclusions) without full human oversight and critical review. AI tools cannot be listed as authors under any circumstances.

3. Disclosure Requirements
All use of AI tools in manuscript preparation must be clearly disclosed in a dedicated section, specifying the tool(s) used, their version, and the purpose of use.

For substantial use (e.g., data analysis, content generation), details must be included in the Methods or Acknowledgments section, and, if required, relevant AI outputs should be uploaded as supplementary materials.

If no AI tools were used, authors should state this explicitly.

4. Authorship and Responsibility
AI tools cannot be credited as authors. Human authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all content submitted, including any material generated or assisted by AI.

Authors must ensure that AI use does not compromise research ethics, originality, or intellectual property rights.

5. Peer Review and Editorial Use
Reviewers may use AI tools for language editing of their reports but must not use AI to generate review content or make final recommendations. Any AI use in peer review must be disclosed to the editorial office.

Editorial staff may use AI for administrative tasks (e.g., formatting, plagiarism detection) under human supervision. AI must not be used to make editorial decisions or generate decision letters.

6. Ethical Considerations
All AI use must comply with ethical standards, including data privacy, accuracy, and respect for intellectual property. Under no circumstances may AI be used to fabricate, falsify, or manipulate scientific data or results.

7. Compliance and Enforcement
The journal reserves the right to request further information regarding AI use and to reject manuscripts that do not comply with this policy.

Failure to disclose AI use or inappropriate use of AI may result in rejection, retraction, or other corrective actions.
