Open Access, Copyright and Licensing Policy
The Asian Educational Therapist is committed to the principles of open access and upholding the highest standards of publication ethics in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1. Open Access Statement
The journal is a fully Gold Open Access journal. All articles published in this journal are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication. There are no subscription fees or paywalls; readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles without restriction, provided the original work is properly cited.
2. Copyright
Authors retain full copyright of their published works. The journal does not claim copyright transfer. By submitting and publishing in the journal, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right of first publication and a licence to publish, distribute, and identify itself as the original publisher.
● Authors retain the right to use, share and archive their work in accordance with the journal’s policies. The copyright holder is clearly stated on every published article (HTML and PDF).
● Authors may deposit the published Version of Record (final PDF) in any institutional repository, personal website, or subject repository immediately upon publication with no embargo.
● Authors are encouraged to share their work widely while ensuring proper citation and link to the DOI.
3. Licensing
All articles published in the journal are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). This licence permits unrestricted use, distribution, adaptation, and reproduction in any medium, including for commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source.

Under this licence:
i. Users are permitted to copy, distribute, display, perform, and adapt the work for any purpose, including commercial use.
ii. Attribution is required. Users must give appropriate credit to the authors, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made.
iii. No additional restrictions may be applied. Users may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the licence permits.
4. Third-Party Material
Authors are responsible for securing permission for any copyrighted third-party material (figures, tables, images, etc.) included in their article. Third-party material may not automatically fall under the CC BY 4.0 license.
5. Archiving and Preservation
The journal ensures long-term digital preservation of published content through recognised archiving services. Articles will remain accessible even if the journal ceases publication.
